SNAP FURNITURE

SNAP Furniture is a conceptual brand of flat-pack furniture. Utilizing the tensile strength and ductility of plywood, SNAP furniture allows for assembly without screws or adhesives. Simply compress the main key and slide on the seat and backrest segments. At the end, insert the lock to prevent compression and solidify the chair. Pieces ship pre-assembled in a compact fashion and assembly is done in a SNAP! This rapid prototyping project utilizes the advantages of laser cutting to quickly iterate and take a concept from CAD to reality very quickly. This prototype has the potential to be fabricated in full scale using a CNC router.
